Thoughts I have after searching for illustration jobs for a couple hours:
Why am I not more proficient with Adobe Suite?
Why am I not more proficient with graphic design in general?
Why am I not more proficient with screenprint/silkscreen methods?
Basically…Why am I not more proficient altogether?
Shit…Finding a straight up illustration job that doesn’t require strong...
So much time spent photoshopping, so little progress. This might actually be the piece that I get hell for. Whoops. Too bad I care more about surface design portfolo than my entire senior thesis.
Is this how it’s going to be, tumblr? At this rate, I will have seen The Hunger Games in full via GIFs before I actually go see it in theaters.

So this week I learned that day drinking is always the best option, and that even though it’s March you can still get a god-awful sunburn if you lay around on the beach for 5 hours.

I am going to hang in, eat some takeout & watch “The Fall”…Maybe I’ll do some illustration if I’m feeling ambitious, but I spent all day doing that so probably not. I’d like to revel in the last few days of spring break before I return to UMD.

Definitely getting more & more into cut paper with my work…It’s interesting to see the progression. We’ll see where it goes.
